As far as my art background goes, I guess you can say I’m in between being self-taught and schooled. Since high school I’ve taken advanced art classes. After I graduated, I went straight to SCAD and then I graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2014. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts, but I majored in Fashion. I left planning to open up a gallery & a boutique, but my business plan was only for the boutique.
Later I figured out I had multiple businesses in one. I had a plan that didn’t fit what I wanted. The target market was out of whack and so was the price point for my work. I was working in a boutique at the time, running that business heavily influenced my thoughts but deep down I knew I wanted more.
Fast forward to 2020, I’m still working out the kinks, it’s a process. In between this time, I’ve gained a lot of interior design experience and knowledge. Now I'm putting it all together and doing the work. - Exhibit B
